PaigeTurner writes: Miss Opal was known as "Open Pussy At Large". She was a great performer and a show stealer with great costumes and a wonderful fashion style. A great person and someone who would listen to you then talk your ear off.

BaraCuda wries: I was lucky to know MissOpal, we had the same landlord on Queen street in Halifax when I first moved to the city. We hung out from time to time and I must say that I miss Miss Opal. She was always super friendly to me, and had a very colorful personality. Love ya Lots!

Photo: BaraCuda writes: It was taken by StephenParr? in 1995 I believe, besides myself on the far left I can't remember the names of the others, the guy next to me was Opal's roommate, they lived up the street from me. The lady was our landlady, the other guy was a drag performer I think by the name PaigeTurner.
