Grew up in Church Point, Nova Scotia in an Acadian household, attended L'Université Ste. Anne, then Dalhousie for a BA in English, and later on a Bachelors in Journalism from University of King's College. He currently writes for The Coast, Halifax Magazine, and more. He wrote a blog for Xtra, called Down East.

• worked as an editorial assistant at YoungGayAmerica magazine

• In May 2004, wrote and produced a CBC Radio piece on Acadian culture, including an interview with RobinMetcalfe
• July 2005: wrote Cruising 101 for TheCoast, using pieces of CruisingProtocols
• May 1, 2017: His book, Pantry and Palate, is released.
