2022-07-17 Elderberries Salon

The July 17, 2022 Youth Elders Storytelling Salon was the third Pride storytelling salon.

It was hosted by Pride itself and organized mostly by MacPheeCentre. The three youth were invited from the Centre, and the two elders, StephanieBrown? and BarendKamperman, came from the ElderBerries Speakers Bureau.

This evening of storytelling was an intergenerational space where youth and elder guest speakers can connect, listen, and grow with each other and the audience. Participants shared stories about experiences in the ever-changing 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

There were about five Q elders in the audience, and about fifty youth and parents.
