Rebels in Rhinestones: A Mini Lecture Series on Drag, Burlesque & Queer History
Drag and burlesque have always been more than just entertainment—they are acts of resistance, resilience, and radical self-expression. “Rebels in Rhinestones” is a mini lecture series exploring the intersections of queer performance, history, and activism. Four local performers will each give a 20-minute presentation on topics that uncover the hidden histories, cultural significance, and political impact of these art forms.
Price: Pay-What-You-Can at the door. Doors open at 5:30, show at 6.

Eating Disorder Recovery Conversations: 2SLGBTQIA+ Perspectives
Join us during Halifax Pride for a conversation with peers on how eating disorders experiences intersect with our lived experiences as members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We will have an open discussion about identity, stigma, challenges, triumphs, and recovery maintenance.
Whether you're navigating your own recovery journey or seeking to understand more about diverse perspectives, this in-person event provides a safe and supportive space to learn, share, and connect.
This event is part of our Recovery Conversation series and invites individuals aged 17+ to share in a discussion about paths to eating disorders recovery. Light snacks will be provided. Register now for free to secure your spot!

Queer Self Defence Class
This queer self-defence series offers stand-alone classes in a supportive, inclusive environment tailored to diverse needs. With sessions for the general queer community, femmes and themmes, and those needing accessibility modifications, each class empowers participants with practical skills and confidence.
There are three classes, all held from 7:30 to 9:30 at North Endurance (address below). Choose the class that's the best fit for you: July 21st - Femmes and Themes; July 22nd - Open Class; and July 23rd - Self-Defence with Accessibility and Modifications.

Anna Mona-Pia's Farewell Cabaret
This is a show to celebrate the last 4 years of shows before AnnaMonaPia moves to Vancouver. Expect a night of comedy, tears, and great drag. This event will be one of a kind, featuring live vocals, stories, and iconic drag performances by some of Halifax's favourites.
All seating is General Admission and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are non-refundable, and Stardust cannot guarantee your party sits together, so if you have a larger party, please arrive early. All tickets not redeemed by 8:45 pm will be resold to those waiting.

A night of deadly laughs and rezziness returns to Staggers Pub & Grub! Join us on July 21st as we close the chapter on this series, and we couldn't be more happier to be back during pride! Featuring performances by Nykitene, KAGE, and Cicero Crow!
