First download MIRC
Use Efnet Random Server on port (6667) for Windows users

Mac Users

First download ircle
Now pick or enter a server:

Linux users

First download ircii
Pick a server as the Mac people do.

History

The IRC channel #gayhalifax and #gay_halifax existed from early on in the history of the IRC network -- the mid '90s -- until early 2006 when it was completely abandoned in favour of GayDotCom. Several people on the irc channel had pages on here:
