SistersLightshipCollective

pic The Sisters' Lightship was a lesbian-feminist periodical, which only published Volume 1, No. 1, December, 1978. The cover depicts an apple on the sail, and the boat's name is the acronym for the Atlantic Provinces Political Lesbians for Equality.

It was named for the Three Sisters rock formation off Cape Chignecto. A lightship was a permanently moored ship which acted as a floating lighthouse, its beacons directing the way to safety around navigational hazards.

There were about twelve members of this collective, including AnneFulton, Gert M, and LynnMurphy.
