Robert H. "Rob" Thomson

June 12, 1940 - September 20, 2020

Born in Truro, Rob completed his Teaching Certificate at Nova Scotia Teacher's College, and BA, MA (History) at Saint Mary's University. He taught school in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador before returning to Halifax.

Rob was keenly interested in theatre at Prince of Wales College, Charlottetown, P.E.I., and dramatic productions at Saint Mary's University. He was also interested in British and European Royalty and eagerly followed their activities in great detail.

Rob was a member and frequent attendee of the ElderBerries events; his death is noted in the October, 2020 newsletter.

Rob was survived by his long-time partner, BillRomkey†; sister, Marion Thomson; and brothers, Jim and Mac Thomson.1
