So Fetch Dog Walk
Let’s meet up at the Shubie Park beach before heading out on a leisurely stroll around the off leash portion of the park at 11:15am. People and pups are welcome to wear their favourite rainbow fashions. We’ll return to the beach to enjoy some treats for pups and hoomans alike.
In the event of rain, we’ll meet at the same time on Sunday, July 28th. More information online.

Brunch with Pride at Hardisty - charcuterie restaurant & craft brewery. We try to have something for everyone - vegan & gluten-friendly options, and we serve various alcohol (beer, mead, cider, wine, etc) & non-alcohol drinks.

Drag Queens Busking
This Pride favorite is sure to bring joy to your Festival plans! We have some of the best Local Drag Performers Halifax has to offer, and they are BUSKING! 4 or 4 Drag Performers ONE stage and 2 or 3 show (Depending on heat) 1st show 12 Noon 2nd Show 1pm and 3rd show (Heat Permitting) at 2pm Each Mini Drag Show runs 30-40 min! This is a FREE ALL AGES ACCESSABLE SOBER EVENT! Tips are appreciated but not necessary! Bring the family and enjoy an afternoon on the waterfront! More info online.

Halifax’s hottest cabaret series – Broadway Brunch – is back at The Carleton on Saturday, July 27th with an all new Pride Edition! Featuring the sizzling talents of our region’s finest, this show guarantees to be a fabulous time, jam packed with Broadway hits and lots of laughs! Broadway and Brunch … who could ask for anything more!?

Celebrate Pride with IKEA in the most delicious way possible! Indulge in a slice of our vibrant rainbow cake, savor tasty snacks, and enjoy dainty sandwiches paired with refreshing Swedish-inspired beverages. Proceeds from STORSTOMMA (rainbow) bag and event will benefit the RainbowRefugeesNS. Meet their team at the event and learn about their incredible local work.

Spill The Tea Pride Party & Picnic
An afternoon of decadence. Join Chef Molotov in the Point Pleasant Park by the Summer House and feast upon a wild array of fanciful foraged food. Expect sweet things, tea sandwiches, jam filled pastries, whimsical and delectable bites to fill your stomach. Lay in the grass, sip your ice tea and listen to melodic music flowing in the wind. Be treated like the royalty all of us QTBIPOC babes were born to be.
Category is: folk lore. Dress to impress in folk lore costumes, let’s make a spectacle. Prizes will be dolled out to the Best Dressed. Lawn Games will be set up & twirling and dancing will be very much in full swing. It’s time to celebrate and cherish ourselves and be treated to an afternoon filled with gayety.

Celebrations begin with “Probing the Space-Time Cumtinuum” - a raunchy voyage through time and space brought to you by the bad boys of burlesque, AtlanticBoylesque (Marquee Ballroom, 7-930). 2037 Gottingen will then erupt into deep space debauchery with a dance party brought to you by legendary collaborators KAOS events and Atlantic Boylesque (10-2).
