Owned by DanielJoseph, first as Fantasias in Scotia Square, from 1990-05-14. In 1991 it was moved to 1537 Barrington St (where in 2004, Chives is) and renamed "The Studio" (business name: The Studio Diningroom & Lounge.)

The name became unregistered for nonpayment on 1996-05-31.

At Scotia Square it had its own entrance off Duke St; someone writes: "the Scotia Square location had a really great horseshoe type bar... small but a really fun place."

The GayLine was located in the basement of the Barrington St location for a few years.
