Back to Our Roots Picnic and Market
Presented as part of Halifax Pride 2025 with the Enchante Network and CGLCC. Celebrate Black queer creativity, resilience, and community at the Back to Our Roots Picnic and Market: a vibrant gathering of local Black 2SLGBTQI+ artisans, makers, and visionaries. Rooted in joy and resistance, this market is more than a place to shop, it's a space to connect, reflect, and flourish together. Come explore handmade goods, art, fashion, and wellness products crafted with care, all while enjoying free food, good vibes, and live music by Black queer and trans artists. Whether you're here to support local talent or just soak in the energy, this is a space for us, by us to shine and grow.
In the spirit of Halifax Pride’s 2025 theme, Flourish, we invite you to celebrate where we come from and everything we’re growing into More info online.
