- We are excited to present a screening of the National Film Board documentary Parade: Queer Acts of Love & Resistance. Parade: Queer Acts of Love & Resistance captures pivotal moments that sparked Canada’s 2SLGBTQIA+ movement, honouring the activists and elders whose resistance led to the rights we have today.
- Through rarely seen archival footage and first-person accounts, audiences are brought to the frontlines of the struggle. From police raids to early drag shows, community organizing to the House of Commons - the complex history of our country’s diverse communities is brought to life. Key milestones illustrate the power of taking it into the streets and underscore how easily the rights we’ve fought for can be revoked.

- Naked Rockband Game Night: Pride Edition
- A special Pride Edition of our weekly night of retro games and nudity! Drums, guitars and vocals, come play the classic video game, Rock Band or soak in the hot tub or play some downstairs. Tuesdays are more relaxed than the weekend parties but still plenty of fun! Naked Rockband is the one event that our core group of members always talks about. They invite other members they meet who 'fit the vibe' and have turned this small social hangout night into a weekday party night. The "Naked" in Naked Rockband is 100% optional and people are fine fully clothed although most people wearing clothes go more for underwear, bathing suit or bathrobe. This weekly event is our 'cheap night' at Night Spa where folks get 4 hours of full Night Spa fun for just $15. We normally have 30-40 people out for this each week but expect this number to be a little higher due to it being freaking Pride! Night Spa is Halifax's only mixed gender, private members, clothing optional Spa. There's a hot tub, sauna, showers, and many shared spaces. Space will be limited for these nights. Members and their guests can rent a locker for this evening but we will not be renting out rooms. So come play some games and have a nice relaxing time socializing with other members of the community. 19+ As a private, members only venue, only approved Night Spa members and their guests may attend. This is both for safety and legal purposes. Our vetting process is not a formality and generally takes 2-5 days for us to reply. We take this process seriously so let us know who you are and why you wish to become a member. We can not allow walk-ins or approve same day applications so apply now to attend in the future.
