Pride Scrimmage
Come celebrate Pride with the Anchor City Rollers with a special scrimmage. What is a scrimmage? It's a fun, low-stakes game of roller derby where the league (and close friends!) split into two teams to play each other. It's a great learning opportunity for all of our players and officials, but with all the hard-hitting action of a full-length roller derby bout. In celebration of the Halifax Pride festival, we'll be donning our rainbows and showing off our queer joy (while consensually hitting each other!)
More information (including required forms) online. Skaters and officials must arrive by 6:30, doors open for spectators at 6:45, play starts at 7.
Location: Cole Harbour Place, 51 Forest Hills Pkwy, Dartmouth
