IceProductions and Jessica Bowden of Visual Impact Modelling Agency took Halifax's drag community to a new level with an interesting and well attended first Drag Idol Atlantic competition at ClubNrg in July 2003. Hosted by the incomparable LuLuLaRude, the show features 12 contestants (DragKings and DragQueens both) and 3 rounds of competition. The event was again held in July 2004.

- Summer 2004: RougeFatale (1st place), AnnieCockadoo Cox (2nd place), other finalists were NatasshaNlott and ShaydaBlack. Eliminated in round 2 were DivadDivine and TyGer. Eliminated in round 1 was DevinaDq.
